The Arms Dealer is a town npc that will show up once a player finds a firearm and has a suitable living space. Some ways to get a gun early on is by exploring the underground and finding a chest. Another way to get weapons that spawn this npc is by destroying the special structures found in either corruption (shadow orbs) or crimson (pulsating hearts) biomes.
